Infant murdered for father’s refusal to withdraw rape case
KASUR: A two-year-old girl was axed to death by the alleged rapists of her mother after her father refused to withdraw a rape case against them at Raday Baht village in Sarai Mughal police limits. Sarfraz and others had allegedly raped the wife of Nazar Muhammad when she was going to Okara to meet her relatives sometime ago.
The Ravi police, Okara, had registered a rape case against the accused. On Friday, accused Sarfraz, along with his five accomplices, came to the house of Nazar Muhammad and allegedly forced him for compromise. The accused also asked him to withdraw the rape case but Nazar Muhammad refused. This infuriated the accused and they allegedly axed to death Ashi, the daughter of Nazar Muhammad. The Sarai Mughal police have registered a case and arrested the accused, including Sarfraz.
