Human rights cell to start functioning soon
KARACHI: A meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) to be held during the first week of February would authenticate the formal establishment of the Human Rights Complaint Cell after which it would function around-the-clock.
This was disclosed in a progress report prepared by the director for human rights. The report, which was submitted to Minister for Human Rights Nadia Gabol also underlined the objectives of the cell, a press release issued on Sunday said.
