HR cases to go straight to law ministry
LAHORE – The Regional Directorate of Human Rights decided in a meeting on July 13 that human rights violation cases would be submitted directly to the Justice and Law Ministry.
This decision was made in the third meeting of the monitoring committee of the Directorate of Human Rights, presided over by regional director Kasoor Awan.
The Punjab police inspector general (IG) directed all deputy inspector generals (DIGs) to resolve cases of human rights violations.
