Housemaid assaulted
RAWALPINDI: A housemaid was allegedly assaulted by a police sub-inspector on the premises of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), police said.
Sub-inspector (SI) Munawar Hussain was arrested while constable Nasir Ali was booked for helping the SI, police said and added that the CCTV footage proved the charges against the SI.
S. Bibi, wife of Zulfiqar Ahmed, had requested SI to help her unemployed husband get a job, police said.
The victim in her complaint said that SI Munawar Hussain telephoned her on February 26 and asked her to meet him at his work place as he had arranged a good job for her husband.
