Govt’s two years showcased through photographs
ISLAMABAD: The reflection of two-year performance of the democratic setup was captured in a collection of 200 photographs displayed here at the National Art Gallery.
The exhibition is open to public till March 29, and it provides glimpses of the government’s achievements for the masses.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Information titled ‘Rebuilding Democratic Pakistan’ on completion of two years of the present government.
The displayed pictures not only portrayed the images of PPP but also of other political parties to show the true essence of the democratic setup.
The exhibition offers a diverse variety of photographs, posters, pictures and graphics to provide a comparison between authoritarian rule and democracy in Pakistan, and subsequent steps of the government to take Pakistan forward on the path to progress, peace and pluralism.
Various images have been taken from memorable events to mark two years of the people’s government and its accomplishments. The show features performance of the government, enumerating many special initiatives taken for the betterment of the people’s lot.
