Government Spokesman refutes story of Pearl’s Flight to UK
ISLAMABAD- The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and Presidential spokesman, Major General Rashid Qureshi, on Saturday afternoon made it clear that the kidnapped reporter of Wall Street Journal, Daniel Pearl, was still in the captivity of unidentified kidnappers.
He said that story afloat about his recovery and being on boarding of a PIA flight to UK was untrue; however, the authorities were striving hard to recover Mr. Pearl.
