Government provides equipment to college, Buner Press Club
PESHAWAR: To provide institutional support to Press Club and equipping educational institutes, government has provided equipment and furniture to Degree College Jewar and Buner Press Club.
Two streets’ pavement schemes have also been completed in different areas of Buner. These schemes would benefit thousands of locals of the area.
According to Special Development Unit (SDU), these schemes were identified by the community members in meetings held with local administration, because growing militancy in the area badly damaged the local infrastructure.
Therefore, the district administration ordered to complete these schemes. These developmental schemes include, equipping government Degree College Jewar and Buner Press Club by providing 600 chairs, 14 water proof tents, 14 water coolers, two video cameras and other furniture’s.
The SDU statement added that two streets’ pavement schemes have also been completed in village Bena Maira and village Matwani where 1268 meters long streets have been paved. Addressing at the work completion ceremony, Syed Mujeebur Rahman, DCO Buner said that government is committed to provide quality education and more support to the educational sector of Buner.
