Government girl’s school blasted in Bannu
BANNU: Anti-literacy militants blew up a government run girls school with explosives in the wee hours of Friday but no causality was reported. According to details, unknown militants had planted explosives material in Government Girls High School of the Bannu city which exploded with a loud bang.
As a result of blast the school building was badly damaged but no injury or causality was reported as the building was empty at the time of explosion. Locals said that it was high intensity blast heard in one kilometre area creating panic and fright among the dwellers.
