Google Doodle celebrates Pakistan’s Independence Day

LAHORE: Like the last year, Google, the world’s largest internet search engine, has again displayed a brilliant I-Day’s doodle at its Google Pakistan page to wish happy Independence Day to the people of Pakistan.

Google has a history of linking its delightful doodles with cultural and social events across the globe. The Tuesday’s brand new doodle celebrates Pakistan’s 66th Independence Day. The doodle symbolizes the culture and heritage of the country. The artistic combo of the words ‘Google’ into the famous truck art of Pakistan is both innovative and ethnic at the same time.

Unlike last year’s doodle where a crescent and a star was displayed above the second ‘g’ and a Minar-e-Pakistan was placed in place of ‘l’ and the colour changed to green, this years’ doodle has got a complete makeover and instead features a traditional design and artwork. It is worth to mention here that Google Pakistan is among the most-visited websites of Pakistan and also the IT giants are keen in investing the Pakistan’s fastest growing internet industry.
