Girls’ school blown up in Mardan
MARDAN, June 2: A girls’ school was blown up in Mardan by militants before dawn on Monday.
A bomb planted near the main gate of the Government Girls High School of Kharki Baizai, some 45 kilometres from here, blew up the main gate and a portion of the building.
The explosion also damaged an adjoining hospital building. It was a first attack on a girls’ school in Mardan.
