PESHAWAR: A young girl was killed when unidentified armed persons attacked a house in Imamia Colony, Gulbahar, on Wednesday
Police said that the girl who was killed in the armed attack was identified as Nargis, 14. The attackers entered Imamia Colony in Gulberg area and opened fire on Maulana NasirAli’s house. Resultantly, Nargia was killedPolice reached the scene and registered a case against unidentified assailants. No arrest was made in the incident.
Meanwhile, a six-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a youth in Abdulkhel village, Lakki Marwat, said police on Wednesday.
Police said that the accused Shafiullah took Muhammad Haris to the nearby forests and assaulted him. The accused, who belongs to Chuharkhel village, escaped after committing the crime.
Police registered a case against the accused under Section 377 of Pakistan Penal Code after medico-legal report confirmed that the boy had been sexually assaulted.
