GIRL KILLED
LARKANA: A 21-year old girl was strangled to death by her farther and brothers after dubbing her a Kari, reports Our Nawabshah Correspondent.
Bilqees, 21, of Tharumal village near Daur died on Sunday. She was killed by her father Hussain Bux Rind and brothers Mohammed Ali and Niaz.
Hussain Bux has surrendered to police but the other accused have escaped.
The girl’s body was taken to Daur rural health centre and later to People’s Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
The post mortem at the PMC was completed by 5pm.
Head Munshi of Daur police station told this correspondent that the accused Hussain Bux had confessed to have killing his daughter because she had run away with one Jamal alias Dado Chandio about three days ago. When she returned home on Saturday night he and his two sons killed her for the sake of family honour. He said that a case had been registered against the accused under sections 302 and 34 PPC.
