Geo to telecast Pak-India young singers’ contest
RAWALPINDI: Geo TV will telecast a competition between young singers of Pakistan and India on Thursday (July 29). The singing competition, ‘Chotay Ustad’, has been launched for the promotion of friendship and peace between India and Pakistan under ‘Aman Ki Asha’, an initiative started by the Jang Group and The Times of India Group.
Rahat Fateh Ali and Sonu Niagam will be the judges. The motto of this programme is: one voice of two countries. This programme can also be watched on Star TV. About the singing competition, Rahat Fateh Ali and Sonu Nigam said it would fulfil dreams of ‘Aman Ki Asha’ by giving the message of love and peace through true tunes.
