FSJA reactivated
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Sports Journalists Association (FSJA), the pioneer organisation comprising sports journalists of Pakistan, has been re-activated.
Its aim is to defend the rights of sports journalists’ of Pakistan and promote sports journalism across the country. To this effect, a meeting was held at the Islamabad Sports Complex here Wednesday. As many as 31 sports journalists from various media outlets participated in the meeting. The members with unanimous consensus elected the new office-bearers of the association for 2011-12. The meeting also announced manifesto of the association and pledged to work together for resolving the problems confronted by the sports journalists’ community of the country.
