Frontier lawyers to continue boycotting judiciary
PESHAWAR: The NWFP lawyers will continue complete boycott of the superior and subordinate judiciary on every Saturday and will hold protests for two hours daily, said a statement issued by Sarhad Bar Council (SBC) Vice Chairman Qazi Mohammad Naeem and Executive Committee Chairman Saeed Akhtar Khan on Saturday.
The statement said that the Provincial Lawyers Action Committee meeting scheduled for February 25 had been postponed, while the SBC general body would meet on March 1 to discuss its future course of action. It said that associations concerned would decide the time of the meeting. Two lawyers from every bar association would observe token hunger strike on daily basis, it said.
