Four-year-old girl found murdered
KARACHI – Body of a four-year-old girl, who went missing since Wednesday, was recovered from the rooftop of a building located in the limits of Kalri police station in Lyari on December 16.
Police said that the girl was strangulated to death. Hospital sources said that the victim was subjected to sexual abuse and later strangulated to death by the unknown persons.
Police said that Misbah, daughter of Muhammad Ishaq, had gone out to buy sweets on Wednesday morning, but did not return.
On Wednesday, the police received information about a child’s body lying on the top of the Ayub Manzil. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Civil Hospital.
When the body was taken back to the area, tension griped the entire locality resulting in the closure of shops and other commercial activities. Police said that enraged youths took to the streets and started pelting the vehicle with stones, suspending the traffic in the area.
