Foreign newsmen pouring in Peshawar

PESHAWAR- The flood of foreign media men in the City is in progress as on Monday about 50 of them visited Press Information Department (PID) and Department of Home & Tribal Affairs to get permits for visit to Pak-Afghan border at Torkham, Khyber Agency.

The foreign media is coming to Peshawar to visit Torkham to get information regarding the United States expected attacks on Afghanistan due to their refusal to hand over Saudi dissident Osama Bin Laden. The United States and its allies are still in trauma over the terrorist attacks on the economic and political hearts of the United States that razed the World Trade Centre (WTC) and Pentagon.

A group of foreign media men have also set up a satellite facility in the premises of a five-star hotel here to make the coverage of the possible action against Afghanistan in a couple of days. The foreign media men asked questioned regarding Osama Bin Laden.

They visited refugee camps and institutions of the religious organizations, which have a spiritual link with the Taliban.
