Foreign media teams arrives in Sukkur for polls coverage
SUKKUR- Several teams of foreign journalists have arrived here to cover the second phase of local bodies (LB) elections being held in Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, Naushehro Feroze Nawabshah districts on March 21.
Correspondents of some foreign news agencies arrived and interviewed leaders of various political parties about the prospect position of their candidates and the overall impact of elections on the country’s political situation.
Prominent to be interviewed were ex-Pakistan People Party (PPP) Member National Assembly (MNA) Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah (Sukkur) Khalid Khan Lund (former MNA Ghotki) former MNA Manzoor Wassan (Khairpur), Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh chief Asadullah Bhutto advocate and a senior Supreme Court advocate and member Supreme Court Bar Association, Ghulam Qadir Jatoi.
