Foreign journalist released after arrest
DERA ISMAIL KHAN- Peter Palm Halm South Eastern Correspondent for Daily Independent, New Delhi, who arrived here in D.I.Khan the other day, was arrested by the local police on Thursday evening but was released later on.
He was accompanied by his Pakistani interpreter who belonged to Norowal (Sialkot). Peter Palm Halm arrived here and after his arrival, he contacted directly Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman who is under home arrest.
He interviewed Maulana at his residence at Shorkot and when he was on his way back to the hotel he was arrested by Cantt, Police After being interrogated by police authorities, Peter was handed over to IS1 authorities that cleared and released him the same night.
