Floral Arts Society holds meeting
ISLAMABAD: The Floral Arts Society held its December meeting at Water Sport Club in Mangla. The programme of the month was titled ‘Woven Waters’. As the name suggested, it was carried out on a raft surrounded with water.
Latest techniques of threading, weaving and pinning were demonstrated. Each demonstrator explained the technique in detail while the members had hands-on experience of practically applying the technique.
Members were also served a delicious lunch on the raft and later were taken for a speedboat ride on the lake. Members appreciated the workshop and the venue selected for the meeting. The serenity of the lake was in conformity with the soothing atmosphere of a floral workshop.
