First Pakistani social site launched
LAHORE: Pakistani information technology (IT) engineers have successfully launched a social networking website on the pattern of Facebook.
Yousaf Fayyaz, one of the engineers, who have developed the website BuddyFlick.com told APP on Sunday that the website was launched with the aim of proving to the world that Pakistani engineers were talented enough to maintain their own social networking website. He said that operating a website was not an easy task, as it required a lot of resources but BuddyFlick.com would offer the same features, which Facebook did.
Fayyaz said that the website was still in the development stages but would offer features such as photos, videos sharing, chat rooms, wall posts, games, quizzes, fan pages, groups, events, photo tagging, custom profile designs, Twitter integration and others.
