First of month TV show by PM
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will listen to public grievances during a live television show on the first day of every month from Saturday.
The hour-long programme will be telecast by PTV and Dunya TV at 8pm and the prime minister and his aides will answer telephone calls and issue orders wherever possible.
According to sources, the prime minister will ask the authorities concerned to address people`s complaints and take corrective measures on the basis of their suggestions.
Prime Minister Gilani had recently started addressing the nation on the state-run radio every month, but the programme was discontinued after a few months apparently because of poor public response.
