First-ever rural women fashion brand launched
Sughar Women Programme is a social enterprise in Pakistan which aims to empower rural and tribal women in Pakistan by giving those opportunities, training and resources to grow as entrepreneurs using their skills in embroidery.
In this connection Sughar have also launched Pakistan first-ever rural women fashion brand via a fashion show creating a huge positive trend in the fashion industry of Pakistan when Pakistan’s top models showcased dresses and bags embroidered by rural women in Pakistan Sughar Fashion event was held at PDI House.
After the tremendous success in bringing the rural women into the world of fashion and style, Sughar now launched its very unique collection for summer on other day. In this collection Sughar has brought Pakistan’s folk stories, old neem tree, frogs, roosters and the modest village bride in some of the most beautiful embroidery to carry around as stylish summer kurta’s, hand bags and Hand clutches!
