Father held for killing child
KHAIRPUR: Police have arrested a man after his two-year-old child was found strangled to death in Pir Jo Goth Town of Khairpur. The body of Bahadur, s/o Shahnawaz Jamiro, was found covered in a bed sheet.
On the complaint of the childÃs mother Aman Jamiro that her husband had issued threats of killing the child many times, the police arrested the father, Shahnawaz. Shahnawaz, however, dismissed the charge and alleged that the brother of his wife, Sharif Jamiro, was involved in the killing and the body of the child was found from his house. He demanded a probe into it. The shocked area residents have demanded a thorough probe and severe punishment for culprits.
