Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) to set up Information Technology (IT) institute
LAHORE- The Evacuee Trust Property Board will set up an information technology institute in Lahore to impart quality education in the field of computer science and software engineering.
ETPB chairman Javed Nasir said this at a meeting with Punjab University vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood.
He said the institution would award masters degrees in computer science to successful candidates, and its first session would start in September this year. The institution would also give scholarships and financial support to deserving talented students, he said.
The VC assured all-out technical and academic support from the Punjab University to the proposed institution and stressed the need for providing knowledge about Islam and Pak Studies in the institution.
