EU expresses shock, sadness at Pearl’s death
BRUSSELS- EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana on Friday expressed “shock and sadness” at the slaying of US journalist Daniel Pearl of the Wall Street Journal.
“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the death of Daniel Pearl,” Solana said in a statement.
“I extend my condolences to his wife, his family and his colleagues,” he said
