Efforts on to raise computer literacy’

KARACHI (September 19 2007): Advisor to Chief Minister for Information Technology Noman Sahgal has said that the government is providing computers to young peoples in collaboration with MCB Bank to encourage its use and create employment.

Speaking at an Iftar dinner hosted by Omar Sons on Tuesday, he said that the government was making efforts to enhance computer literacy rate in the province.

He said that the government was trying to bring prosperity in the country with the help of business community. He assured businesses community that the government is prepared to resolve all their genuine problems.

Former president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) S.M. Munir expressed concern over increasing wheat flour prices in the country. He urged the government to take appropriate measures to reduce the wheat flour prices.
