Durrani greets new RIUJ office-bearers
ISLAMABAD – Former Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Central Vice President PML Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani Sunday felicitated the newly-elected officeÂbearers of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ).
In his greeting message to the RIUJ President Afzal Butt and General Secretarv Ashfaq Sajid and other office-bearers, Senator Durrani hoped that they would leave no stone unturned to protect the freedom of expression and the rights of the journalist community.
Senator Durrani further hoped that the new body would contribÂute towards the welfare of the journalist community. “The government will take all possible steps to provide the journalists community best working environment and better living conditions,” they said.
Meanwhile, former Minister of state for Information and Broadcasting Tariq Azeem Sunday felicitated the newly-elected officeÂbearers of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ).
In his greeting message to the RIUJ President Afzal Butt and General Secretary Ashfaq Sajid and other office-bearers, Senator Durrani hoped that they would leave no stone unturned to protect the freedom of expression and the rights of the journalist community.
