District Police Officer bans women from shopping alone in Karak
KARAK: At the request of elders, District Police Officer Sajjad Khan on Monday banned the movement of women in bazaars in Karak city if not accompanied by male family members.
Talking to a delegation led by Khattak Ittehad president Maulana Mirzaqeem and Chountra Welfare Organisation president Malik Gul Badshah at his office, the DPO said there would be complete ban on the entry of women unaccompanied by male family members in the bazaars. He said the police would not allow spreading of vulgarity in the name of shopping. He also said people would not be allowed to swim in dams which would be monitored during Eidul Fitr.
