Directors asked to seek advice from information secretary
ISLAMABAD: The directors of state-run TV have been directed to seek orders, advice from the Secretary Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage until the appointment of a regular Managing Director.
The post of MD stands vacant in pursuance of the judgment of the Islamabad High Court and a notification dated January 13. It was announced in a notification issued by the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage.
The notification says till the appointment of the regular Managing Director, all the directors concerned would look after their day-to-day affairs in a transparent and disciplined manner.They would seek orders/advice from the Secretary Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage/Chairman Board of Directors, it added.
