DDWP approves 11 development schemes

FAISALABAD: Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) has approved 11 development schemes which will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 180 million under the programme provision of missing facilities in the institutions of higher education, rehabilitation of rural water supply and peoples works programme.

It was disclosed in a meeting of DDWP chaired by Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain during which Director Development Dr. Tariq Sardar Director Colleges, Director Colleges Ghulam Muhammad Jakkar, SE Buildings Chaudhary Gazanfar Ali, DCO Chiniot Dr. Irshad Ahmad, X-en Buildings GA Farooq and other concerned officers were participated.

The commissioner urged upon the concerned officers for timely completion of development projects approved by DDWP.

It was also told to the meeting that rehabilitation of rural water supply scheme in Chak No 215-RB Faisalabad and Chak No 327-JB and 328-JB Toba Tek Singh would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs.91.525 million while construction of drain and brick pavement including additional work of rural water supply in Chak No 327-JB TT Singh was also approved in the meeting and funds of Rs 10 million were allocated for these schemes.
