Daily Times office attacked in Karachi
KARACHI: The Daily Times office, located in the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) area of the metropolis, was targeted by some criminal elements during the strike called by Jamaat-e-Islami, here on Wednesday. Some armed men opened aerial fire and entered the premises of the Daily Times press office. A bullet hit the roof of the building, while miscreants also shattered a windowpane. Fortunately, no causality was reported as the miscreants retreated.
The hoodlums also tried to suspend the office work by creating fear in the area. The officials of the Daily Times have demanded of the law enforcement agencies to arrest those responsible for the armed attack on their office building.
