Cultural festival held in CMC Larkana
SUKKUR: The celebration of the cultural festival in Chandka Medical College (CMC) Larkana was kicked off on Sunday.
The CMC students are celebrating the festival as part of extra curricular activities. They established stalls of food, handicraft outlets, book shops, flower shops etc. The students maintained that the cultural festival was a refreshing event for the profession-based colleges and should be promoted in other institutions.
Principal CMC Dr Asadullah Mahar visited the stalls. He said recreational activities along with academic activities promote competition. He said the final year medical students, who are about to pass out to serve the humanity. He said doctors are an asset of the nations and reiterated upon them to serve in those areas of the country which lack medical facilities. The students also performed cultural dances and presented tableau, organised food competition and other colourful activities.
