CPNE seminar on June 1
KARACHI -Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) is organizing a seminar on Freedom of Press and Demands of National Interest on June 1 at 10:00 am at a local hotel.
Leaders of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Professor Ghafoor Ahmed, Deputy Secretary of General Pakistan Peoples Party, Senator Raza Rabbani, Provincial Minister and Senior Vice President of PML(Q), Imtiaz Sheikh and Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Information, Salahuddin Haider will present their views.
Professor Tausif Ahmed Khan of Karachi University (KU), Director Pakistan Studies Centre at KU, Dr. Syed Jafer Ahmed, former Federal Information Minister, Javed Jabbar and Justice Shaiq Usmani (Retd) of Sindh High Court will deliver their research papers while former President CPNE, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shaami and President APNS, Arif Nizami will represent editors.
