CPNE Press Council committee
Karachi: Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) Secretary General Dr. Jabbar Khattak has announced the constitution of CPNE’s Press Council Committee, which will look into the matters pertaining to the early establishment of Pakistan Press Council.
CPNE President Mir Shakil-ur-Rehnum and Daily Nation/Nawa-e-Waqt Editor Arif Nizami have been nominated as the convener of and substituent/deputy convener of the committee respectively.
While, Daily Dawn, Karachi, Chief Editor Ahmed Ali Khan, daily Business Recorder Editor-in-chief M.A. Zuberi, daily Millat Gujarati, Karachi, Chief Editor Inquilab Matari monthly Urdu Digest, Lahore, Altf Hasan Qureshi, daily Pakistan, Lahore, Chief Editor Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, daily Zamana, Quetta, Chief Editor Syed Fasieh lqbal and daily Qaumi Akhbar, Karachi, Chief Editor Ilyas Shakir will be attened.
