CPNE delegation invited to UAE

KARACHI- JAE Higher Education Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan has invited the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) delegation for meeting on January 21(Thursday) at Abu Dhabi Palace.

Overseas Pakistani journalists can play important role in image building of the country and can better inform Pakistani citizens abroad about legal ways of bringing investment in Pakistan. These views were expressed by CPNE President Khushnood All Khan during his meeting with office bearers of Pakistan Journalists Forum UAE in Dubai.

He said the purpose of CPNE delegation visit to UAE is to inform journalists, social and political personalities about challenges faced by Pakistan.

Pakistan Journalists Forum UAE President Hafiz Zahid All, Chairman Tahir Munir Tahir, Vice-President Abul Hasan, Secretary General Rana Arshad and others termed their meeting a new history.

In the meeting, recommendations were sent to Pakistani government for giving equal rights to overseas journalists.

It is important to note here that CPNE delegation will visit Dubai Media City during five day visit and would meet journalists there. The visiting CPNE delegation includes Aamir Mehmood, Dr Jabar Khatak, Alias Shakir, Ghulam Akbar, Wasim Ahmed, Javed Mehr Shamsi, Munir Ahmed, Ghulam Nabi Chandio, Rehmat All Razi and Mukhtar Aaqil.
