Couple among three killed in Pano Aqil
KHAIRPUR: A man shot dead three people, including a couple, in Pano Aqil on Friday. Police sources said a lady health worker, Noor Jehan Qazi, had married Mir Muhammad Mirani eight days ago without the consent of her parents.
The sources said she, along with her husband, came to her parents to meet them. In the meantime, the girl’s uncle, Ghulam Rasool Kazi, who was unhappy over the marriage, drew a weapon and killed the couple.
Naheed, the sister of Noor Jehan, was also killed in the firing, while her younger sister Noshad sustained injuries. Police shifted the bodies to a hospital for autopsy. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
