Commission quizzes officials of ISI
ISLAMABAD: Judicial Commission probing journalist Saleem Shahzad’s murder case, on Wednesday completed quizzing high-ups of ISI regarding the matter.
The meeting was held under Justice Saqib Nisar of the Supreme Court while Federal Shariat Court Chief Justice Agha Rafiq, Islamabad Inspector General (IG) of Police Binyamin and Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists President Pervez Shaukat were also present.
The commission summoned two ISI officers Major General Adnan Nazir and Brigadier Iftikhar regarding the case and the commission’s members queried them. It has been informed that the commission’s members would resume meeting today (Thursday) for devising their future plan.
