Chief Minister Punjab inaugurates Turkish Culture Festival
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan and Turkey are very close and deeply love each other.
Lahore is the second home for Turkish people and the Lahorities have very close relations with Turkish families living here.
He said that holding of Turk Culture Festival in Lahore is a good omen.
This festival seems like a ‘mini Turkey’ where Pakistani people will have an opportunity to know about various aspects of Turk culture and living style.
He expressed these views while addressing an inaugural ceremony of 2-day Turkish Cultural Festival held under the aegis of Pak-Turk Businessmen Association at a local hotel, here Saturday.
Turkish families residing in Lahore, male and female students of Pak-Turk school and college and a large number of people participated in the festival.
The earning of this festival will be spent on the construction of Girls Branch of Pak-Turk School
