THIS is apropos the letter ‘Unethical cellular networks’ (Aug 20). I am also a victim of yet another irresponsible cellular netwrok.
I recently went to a business centre of a leading cellular company in the DHA, Karachi, to get my prepaid connection converted to post-paid package. As usual, a lengthy paperwork was done by the customer service personnel. Later that day I realised that they had activated a caller tune on my connection without my consent.
When I called the customer service to lodge my complaint, they simply passed the blame on to me, saying that I ticked the specific box in the form.
