Capital to have Film City
Islamabad–Ministry of Culture has finalized a comprehensive plan for the revival of film industry of the country and the first film city and film laboratory would be setup in the capital.
According to sources of the ministry of culture, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has provided the land for the construction of first film city and film laboratory.
According to sources, Islamabad Film City would be constructed on 5-kanal land in Sector G-10 Markaz while Pakistan Film Laboratory be setup on 2-kanal land near Lok Virsa. Latest cameras would be brought from the United States.
