Cable operators continue to defy Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) orders
LAHORE — Despite directions issued by the Director General Pakistan Tele Communication Authority (PTA), most of the cable operators in the city continued to telecast movies and other programs through compact disks (CDs) on the cable network. The cable operators continued to show Pakistani, Indian and English movies by ignoring the PTA orders.
People especially those engaged in video rental business have demanded action against those cable operators showing movies on Cds.
