Business Recorder staffer looted

KARACHI (April 17 2008): One of the staff members of Daily Business Recorder was deprived of his mobile and other valuables on late Tuesday night. According to details, Umair Bin Riaz, staff reporter of BR, was looted at gun-point by two unknown bikers at Five-Star Chowrangi in North Nazimabad area at around 10:30 pm when he was heading for a marriage hall to attend a family gathering.

The gunmen snatched his wallet and mobile along with SIM at gun-point. The gunmen also refused to return his CNIC, office card, ATM card and other valuables present in his wallet. Taimuria Police Station has registered the FIR of the incident.
