Blogspot appears to be banned again in Pakistan
KARACHI, May 7: Hosting 10 Million websites domain Blog Spot among other Pakistan based weblogs which were resumed on May 3 have been banned once again on Saturday, May 6, 2006.
According to a press release issued from “Blog Spot”
PTA banned some Pakistani Weblogs after receiving an order from Supreme Court of Pakistan to block the sites owing contraversial caricature of Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him. But these Blogs were resumed on International Press Freedom Day, May 3, 2006. Now these blogs have been once again banned since Saturday, May 6, 2006, including a domain www.blogspot.com hosting 10 Million websites.
