Blast victims demand compensation

RAWALPINDI- The affectees of Raja Bazaar bomb blast have been suffering a lot from the indifferent attitude of the local administration for not providing them with any financial aid to compensate their losses.

Dozens of people were affected by the blast that occurred last month near the Public Toilet at Fawara Chowk. As many as 21 people were injured in the blast. At the place of the bomb blast, the administration had confiscated commodities of vendors, which used to sell various items on the carts.

After passing more than two weeks, local administration did not return the commodities of the vendors and other stall holders. The confiscated items were the sole source of earning of those poor vendors. This way dozens of people were rendered unemployed. They have appealed to the authorities concerned to take steps for the compensation of their losses.
