Blast in Nawa-i-Waqt office condemned

BAHAWALPUR- The bomb blast in Nawa-i-Waqt office Karachi has been condemned in the Bahawalpur city by people from all walks of life, describing it as the government failure to provide safety and security to the people.

The local journalists, newspaper, readers, business community, political and religious circles of the city expressed shock and deep concern over the bomb blast at the newspaper office and strongly criticised government’s false claims about law and order and free Press. They were also of the view that such tactics could not crush the voice of Press.

They said no strategy had so far been evolved to control such crimes; and it was not a good sign to shift all the responsibility for such incidents to the RAW to save incompetent law enforcing agencies who were engaged in harassing only the innocent people instead of honestly performing their duties.

They also demanded early arrest the culprits and strict action against them.
