BBC, Internews launch ‘Info-as-aid’

ISLAMABAD: The BBC World Service Trust and Internews launched on Monday a flood information service focused on the flood disaster in Pakistan.

In partnership with the BBC Urdu service, the ‘Info-as-aid’ is broadcasting information in Urdu and Pashto on BBC’s FM partner stations across Pakistan.

The broadcasts give practical information, weather reports, details of where to go for aid and health advice about coping with the crisis and avoiding water-borne diseases.
