Attack on Geo, Jang offices condemned
MARDAN: Office-bearers of the Mardan Press Club on Sunday condemned the attacks on the offices of Geo News and Daily Jang in Karachi.
The members of the club held a meeting, which was presided over by its general secretary Muhammad Riaz Mayar. Addressing the meeting, the speakers including Ashraf Khan, Abdul Sattar, Parveez Shaheen and Shahab Akbar said that Geo News is updating the masses about the real situation in the country and raising awareness among people but the government could not tolerate the truth. The speakers demanded the government to provide security to journalists and bring the culprits to justice.
