Art for charity
KARACHI: An Art for charity exhibition has been organised by Dawn at the Karachi Expo Centre during the UAE expo inaugurated by the prime minister on Wednesday. The exhibition will continue till Dec 2.
The exhibition is part of the national effort to provide assistance to the victims of the devastating natural calamities – the earthquake and floods – in Pakistan.
Art for charity is an exhibition of photographs taken by Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoom, daughter of the UAE vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai, and by Uschi Schmitt Ladanyi.
All proceeds from the sale of the artworks will go towards the Dawn relief fund for the earthquake and flood victims.
