Arrangements for Information Technology (IT) education in colleges directed
KARACHI- Sindh Minister for Education Professor Anita Ghulamali has directed the secretary education to hire IT teachers and buy computers before first year, classes begin so that the students who already paid Rs 1,000 additional fee for IT can receive the education.
She also directed that arrangements for imparting IT education in colleges should up to the mark. The students must be informed of the last date of admission and submission of fees, she added.
In the interlude before opening of classes, the purchase of computers and its procedure should be completed. In this connection, certified IT teachers would be hired on contract basis, she said.
The minister instructed the secretary to submit list of all the employees and officials of Education Department who faced disciplinary action or inquires, received show cause notices or were facing corruption charges. The cases would be disposed of expeditiously, she said.
